Story
In March this year, my precious baby boy Thomas Tate Morgan was stillborn at 26 weeks, and this fundraising page has been setup in honour of him.
I embarked on my IVF journey to become a mum in July 2022, and was lucky enough to fall pregnant with Thomas from just my 2nd transfer round. But never did I imagine that at 6 months pregnant I would be delivering and saying goodbye to my baby boy all at the same time.
Without the availability of a cuddle cot at my hospital I would not have been able to spend those precious 24 hours with him, before having to say goodbye forever.
Being able to have that time to make memories with him was truly priceless, and I want to ensure that every other family that experiences the loss of their precious babies is given that same opportunity.
So, in honour of my little Tommy Tater, I am fundraising for a cuddle cot to be donated to an Australian hospital, funeral home or hospice to support bereaved families in those crucial days after the loss of their baby.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby within the bassinet. It enables families to keep their baby close and create beautiful memories, spending as much time as they wish with their baby, before saying goodbye.
I would love your help in supporting this cause by making a donation of any amount, in the hope of reaching my goal of raising $6500, which will see a cuddle cot donated in Thomas's honour.
Thank you for your support.
