Every day, 6 babies in Australia  are tragically stillborn.

The loss of our son Robin, born 10th July 2023, was incredibly heartbreaking and traumatic. 

We are fundraising for a CuddleCot to be donated to an Australian hospital or hospice, to support heart-broken families in the crucial days after the loss of their baby. A CuddleCot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby inside a bassinet; it preserves their appearance, and enables families to spend as much time as they wish together with baby, before having to say goodbye. This special system gifted us 7 days where we got to cuddle, smell, bath, dress and love our baby, as we explored and memorised his every perfect detail. 

When Robin died, we lost the chance to create a lifetime of memories with him, instead forced to try and fit the millions of kisses and cuddles we wanted to give our boy, into just a week. The CuddleCot allowed us time to create memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It also reduced the distress that comes from being separated from him, allowing him to stay close for long periods, instead of being taken to a special cold room in the hospital, away from us and alone.
