Story
Many families experience the loss of their baby in Australia each year in fact 6 babies a day are born till born in .. Although it is an incredibly heartbreaking and traumatic time for parents, it is also a time when they need support the most.
As you may be aware last year on the 05th July my Husband and I were told at our 20 Week scan that there was no heart beat, so wiith that I gave birth to a still born baby boy. We named him Aiman. The enormity of pain and loss we would feel is something i was not prepared for, what help me trough it was the support of others who had suffered something similar. I am hoping to raise enough funds to buy a Cuddle Cot so other parents who will be placed in this horrible situation have support and things there to help them through and to try and make it a little more easier.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby within a bassinet. It enables families to keep their baby close and create beautiful memories, spending as much as time as they wish without the worry or distress to keep handing their baby back to hospital staff to be cooled in a traditional cooling room away from them.
I am fundraising to help fund a cuddle cot for Sutherland hospital to provide this invaluable support for families who find themselves in this devastating situation that we did. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
If i can reach my goal i will be donating this to Sutherland Hospital Maternity Ward in Memory of Aiman Gendy.
