Sumara Family
Story
Many families experience the loss of their baby in Australia each year. Although it is an incredibly heartbreaking and traumatic time for parents, it is also a time when they need support the most.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby within a bassinet. It enables families to keep their baby close and create beautiful memories, spending as much as time as they wish without the worry or distress to keep handing their baby back to hospital staff to be cooled in a traditional cooling room away from them.
We are fundraising to help fund a cuddle cot or two for a hospital to provide this invaluable support for families who find themselves in this devastating situation. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
We were able to have our Riley with us, as we were in a hospital that had a Cuddlecot. This allowed us time with our baby to create memories that will stay with us forever.
We would like other families that walk this heartbreaking journey to have uninterrupted time with their beautiful and loved baby.
Please donate if your can.
