Thomas' Tribute
Thomas' Tribute
Story
On the 12th December I will be walking from Mornington to Portsea (approx. 40km) to raise funds for Bears of Hope, to have a Cuddle Cot donated to a local hospital.
WHY?
Because it's now been 5 years since our Thomas was prematurely born and passed away in our arms 3 hours later.
Because we did not have access to a Cuddle Cot, limiting the valuable time we were able to spend with him and we would like to spare another family from that same experience.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby within a bassinet. It enables families to keep their baby close and create beautiful memories, spending as much time as they wish with their baby, before saying goodbye. This reduces the worry or distress of separation to keep handing their baby back to hospital staff.
We would love you to help us reach our goal of $6,500, supporting this cause by making a donation of any amount. A cuddle cot will then be donated, in Thomas’ name. We are deeply hoping The Bays, Mornington will accept our donation, as this is where both Lachie & Eliza were born.
