Story
Imagine thinking your going to leave the hospital and witness all your babies milestones and then have that all ripped from under you walking out of that hospital empty handed! Everyday 6 babies will be born still born or pass away with in days of entering this world. Although it is an incredibly heartbreaking and traumatic time for parents, it is also a time when they need support the most. Unfortunately myself, Tim and Jade have become two of these statistics losing both our boys within a few hours of having them in our arms and we would like to raise enough money to donate a cuddle cot in their honour to other grieving families.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that lays beneath the baby within a bassinet. It enables families to keep their baby close and create beautiful memories, spending as much as time as they wish without the worry or distress to keep handing their baby back to hospital staff to be cooled in a traditional cooling room away from them.
I am fundraising to help fund a cuddle cot for a hospital to provide this invaluable support for families who find themselves in this devastating situation. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
